Where do you work with clients?

We typically work with client in their place of business. It doesn’t matter if that’s an office of home. We provide services across all boroughs of New York City and the surrounding areas, including Long Island, Westchester, and parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.

How much time do I need to allocate? I’m very busy with work.

Some time will be required for us to discuss scope, expectations, budget and timeline at the beginning of the engagement. Once we iron out those details, how much time you have to allocate depends on the level of service you request. We offer a full service engagement where we handle everything and keep you informed of progress, all the way down to a light touch on our part where we simply act as an adviser and guide you through the process yourself.

Regardless of the level of services, it’s important that you be a committed and active participant.

Are there any general rules that you employ when working with clients?

There are a few general principles we employ when working with clients: 1) the process should reflect the client’s needs, 2) it’s important to be flexible and understand that the clients goals can change at different points in the process, 3) recycle, and 4) be discreet.

Who are your clients?

My clients are typically talented and creative people who manage small or medium sized business and need some guidance when it comes to their software, social media, computer systems and projects.

How do they find out about you?

Generally, word of mouth referrals but also from social media and web searches.

What happens when they hire you?

The initial consultation lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutes. We discuss the client’s goals, challenges, and any relevant constraints. Based on the initial consultation, we will provide the client with a concept, schedule and an estimate of costs.

If we agree to work together, the next stage is to devise a detailed plan, list of milestones, identify additional resources, and determine key dependencies such as third party vendors and service providers.

What happens next?

That depends on the scope of the engagement and the level of service required. Whatever the project, we will be with you throughout the process to help ensure everything goes smoothly.
